A Town Near A River

In the colony of Massachusetts there flows a river named the Annisquam and near it lays the fictional town of Port Kingston. It appears just like any other town with its many merchants and townspeople bustling through everyday life. But this particular town is also a center to a war that is pitting it and the other colonies against the powerful country of England.

A war that will pit individuals and families against one another and that will determine the fate of Port Kingston and its fellow colonies. A war that will make people have to make a choice as to who they are and loyal to with consequences for both. It is a time for forbidden loves, sacrifice and loss of innocence. When young boys became men and young girls became wives and widows.

A gentleman from and upper class family named Benjamin Bordeaux is determined to show the citizens of Port Kingston that what is being done to them by England is intolerable. But he finds resistance from the town's mayor who is a loyalist. Can peace be obtained in this small town? Or will the river that runs through it be flowing with blood?

Will you join as a revolutionary and fight for the colonists? Or will you chose to be a red coat and fight on the side of England? Perhaps just a civilian in Port Kingston who is caught in the middle? Choose a side!

To Be Announced.......

News from England:
News regarding the events of The Boston Massacre and the dumping of tea in Boston Harbor has reached The Crown. King George outraged at the resistance of the colonists after these events has sent British troops and is determined to maintain control. He is also concerned that a town like Port Kingston with a loyalist mayor has revolutionaries in its midst.

News from Port Kingston:
Hearing of The British troops coming to Massachusetts, a group of minutemen led by Benjamin Bordeaux have taken to protecting their town perimeter from any enemies. It is their hope that the conflict taking place at Concord and Lexington shall be a short one and that once The British troops are defeated that they return to England. There have also been some young men who have joined The Continental Army as well and are fighting at Concord and Lexington. Mayor Willoughby has also planned a town meeting to discuss how the war against England is a foolish one.
